Get StartedHello, I'm Kay! I have a Chemical Engineering degree, a B2 French diploma, and twelve years tutoring experience. I started Monarch Online Tutoring because I wanted to give my students access to high quality tutoring services at reasonable rates. I tutor in-person in the Greenville, SC area and online with students anywhere in the world. I believe learning should be a lifelong pursuit, and anyone who wants to learn should have the opportunity to do so. I am excited about meeting you!
I have three awesome kids who were all Honors and AP students in high school. All three were given academic scholarships to college, and my youngest received a full tuition academic scholarship at Clemson University. My children all kept their scholarships by maintaining their grades throughout their college careers. I firmly believe that setting high expectations leads to success.
I have tutored students from kindergarten through college level. I have tutored students online from more than 15 different states and from countries including Morocco, the UK and China. I have also taught home school courses and assisted students taking online classes. If you would like a reference from a past student, please contact me and I will be happy to provide one. Contact me today to get yourself or your student on the road to success!

Hi, I'm Deborah! I have 3 degrees (Bachelors from Northwestern, Masters from George Washington and an MBA from Notre Dame) and know they have helped me in my career. The first step is getting a high college entrance exam test score to help you get into the university that will make your resume stand out among a diverse pool of job candidates. I've consistently scored above the 98% percentile in standardized exams, and I can help you achieve your goals, too!
I'm able to help you prepare for the ACT, SAT and GRE exams. I can also help with Math, particularly Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. I have always excelled in math, taking my high school's Mathletes team to first place in our state tournaments all four years. But I also appreciate language arts, and have been complemented by college professors and corporate bosses alike for my ability to articulate thoughts with words particularly well.
I have also tutored students preparing for GED exams, and passing the US Citizenship tests as well.
And more recently I have also assisted parents struggling with "Common Core" and other grade school subjects as eLearning has become a norm in many parts of the country. #WeAreInThisTogether!
I love learning and truly enjoy helping others to understand new concepts. If you would like a past student's reference, please contact me and I will be happy to provide one. Contact me today to get yourself or your student on the road to success!

Often when a new student comes to us, they are overwhelmed and discouraged by the subject matter. With One on One Tutoring we are able to tailor the lessons to the specific student’s learning style which often results in rapid progress. We find it very rewarding to watch discouragement turn into confidence as our students master their subjects.
Get StartedOccasionally a student will be hesitant to try online tutoring, believing that they can only learn effectively with a face to face tutor. Our advice: Try it! Many of our students started out driving an hour or so to meet one of our tutors, but they have since converted to online tutoring and are much happier. Online tutoring has advanced so much now that in some ways it is even better than face to face tutoring. For instance, the student and tutor can share documents as well as see what each other are writing on the whiteboard. So just be willing to give it a try and you might be surprised and pleased by the results. Go to FAQ to get more info, and if you still are not comfortable with the computer side of things reach out to one of the tutors and we will help you get online.
Get StartedMonarch Online Tutoring requests a 24 hour advance notification if you would like to cancel a lesson. If you cancel late, you may be charged for a portion of the lesson. No Shows are charged for the full hour.
We will wait 15 minutes for a late student. If they have not messaged us after being late for fifteen minutes the lesson is considered a "No Show" and the tutor will not be available for the final 45 minutes. If a student is late and the lesson still takes place, the lesson ends at the scheduled time and the student will be charged for a full hour.
